The National AGM will be held on:

Sunday 7TH May 2023 venue The Aston on Trent Leisure Centre, Aston on Trent, Derbyshire. DE72 2AX

The meeting will commence at 10. 00am. Please make sure you arrive on time many thanks.

All trophies will be presented at the AGM

The agenda will be as follows

  1. Minutes of last meeting
  2. Matters arising from last meeting
  3. Election of officers
  4. Financial report
  5. Secretaries report
  6. Judges report
  7. Proposals
  8. Election of judge
  9. Any other business

Proposals to be voted upon at the AGM.

COSRC

  1. All affiliated clubs must send all results to Graham Dexter as soon as fly season is over so Graham can update the NBRA website
  2. That the National secretary John Hall is inducted in to the National Hall of fame due to the length of time he has held the position of National secretary and the work he continues to do within the roller hobby

CDRC

Propose that future National AGMs be moved further north. You can count on one hand the members that turn up from the south/midlands. We believe these members from the south/midlands would still turn up if the meeting was moved and more from the north would attend if the venue wasn’t 3 hours’ drive away

LRC

  1. We would like to propose in the NBRA fly’s that a trophy can be awarded for highest quality points in the whole 3 fly’s to be awarded every year
  2. We would like to propose that the NBRA fly for a averages trophy every year also the trophies can be paid for out the auction money raised

NBRA/AERC JOINT AUCTION

AN AUCTION WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER THE NATIONAL AGM WITH PROCEEDS BEEN SPLIT 50/50 BETWEEN AERC AND THE NBRA

SO, IF SECRETARYS CAN INFORM MEMBERS/FRIENDS THAT WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND. VIEWING OF BIRDS STARTS AT 11 OCLOCK WITH THE AUCTION TAKING PLACE AT 12 OCLOCK TOP FANCIERS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY HAVE DONATED BIRDS.
